Some tips on adding a detail, like a tattoo for example, to an other texture map. It also shows how to position a smaller texture on a bigger one.
This series of tutorials should eventually cover the whole process of setting up a custom poser figure, from some modelling hints, over UV-Mapping, figure setup, joint editing to morph creation and material setup.
This is a somewhat advanced tutorial; I assume you know your way around Wings3d and Poser, so I will not go into much details about the user interface.
I have been ask to provide the model used in my tutorials, for people who want to follow it with the same model. You can download it here.
I think it would be best if you try the tutorial with your own figure, but with this download you have also the possibility to follow it with the same model.
At the moment, the following parts are up:
Some hints on modelling for Poser
A big tutorial on Wings3d AutoUV
Cutting up the figure into body parts.
Importing into Poser and setting up the figure in the Setup Room.
Adjusting the joint parameters with the poser Joint editor
Limits, IK Chains, material zones and some more little things.
